Labels come from the share and nothing else: Starter 60% and above, Timeshare 40–60%, Backup 15–40%, Spot under 15%, No starts no games played. They describe how a club has split its games so far, not a depth chart and not a confirmation.

A goalie who changed clubs carries a + and an ≈ on his share. His games played are the season total across every club, while the denominator is only the club he played most for, so the share reads high. Splitting it properly needs per-club goalie stat lines, which this site does not yet ingest.

A dash under SV% means no shots faced, not a save percentage of zero — a goalie who has faced nothing has no save percentage, and inventing .000 for him would rank him last rather than leaving him out.
