How this is computed. Each player's value is the sum of their season totals times your weights (or, for a categories league, the sum of their weighted per-category z-scores across the qualified pool). VORP subtracts the replacement-level player at the same position — the Nth best, where N is your roster slots at that position times the number of teams in your league. That is what makes a defenceman and a centre comparable on one board, and why a defenceman can outrank a forward who scored more.
The same methodology computes the preset boards on /rankings; the only difference is that those run overnight and this one runs when you press the button.
